The Longest Lap
One oncologist. One coastline. Six months. 6,000 miles.
Starting in March 2027, I'm running every mile of Britain's coastline.
Roughly 6,000 miles on foot over six months, sticking to the coast path wherever it exists - raising funds and awareness for Move Against Cancer. Along the way I'll be joined for 5K stretches by people living with and after cancer, through pop-up Coastal 5K Your Way events.
The goal isn't to inspire people to run 6,000 miles. It's to inspire them to take the first step.

Lucy has won 14 iron-distance triathlons and finished 9th and 10th at the Ironman World Championship in Kona - the sport's toughest and most prestigious race.
Spine Race Winner
Lucy won the Winter Spine Race 2025 - 268 miles non-stop along the Pennine Way, widely called "Britain's most brutal race." She also set a women's record on the 630-mile South West Coast Path.
Doctor & Founder
Lucy is a consultant oncologist and co-founder of Move Against Cancer, whose 5K Your Way groups support people living with and beyond cancer at over 120 locations across the UK and Ireland.
